Memories with Fringe Club 與藝穗會的回憶
What is the first thing you remember about the Fringe Club?
-
I remember the building with its colours. I really like historical buildings and this one was noticeable.
When was that?
-
That was in 1999, there was a monthly meeting by Artists abroad Association at the Fringe Club and I was invited to join.
What were you doing at that time?
-
I was just arriving in Hong Kong as a Painter with my 4 children and husband.
What are you working on now?
-
I work on a project with the French Maritime Museum, as my previous work was exhibited at the Hong Kong Maritime Museum in May last year.
Could you tell us about the work that you have submitted?
-
This particular work is part of the famous sketchbook “Hong Kong Five Senses”. It was first published in 2007 and then republished with a new edition, new cover in 2020.
This watercolour is one of the last original paintings from the book, a collector!!
